DIDI OTTERSON, Usui Reiki Master - I have been practicing Reiki for over 15 years and currently practice and teach Reiki in my Sausalito, California office. Reiki transformed my life and allows me to embrace my own healing abilities and passion for teaching and helping others learn how to manage their own energy system. After a career of college teaching (Organizational Management and Marketing), consulting, writing, and motivational speaking, my interest shifted to holistic health prompting me to develop courses for the greater community in Stress Management. Since taking Reiki training 15 years ago, I now integrate all aspects of life through practicing and teaching Energy Management with Reiki as the guiding force. I worked in the S.F. AIDS community for over 10 years gaining experience with many types of disorders in hospitals, homes, and organizations, and am currently involved with the Tibetan Healing Center in San Diego.
TRACEY BIGELOW, Usui Reiki Master - I discovered Reiki over 7 years ago after a friend of mine was diagnosed with MS and had huge success with Reiki and Tibetan herbs. I soon decided to get my Reiki I and II training from Didi Otterson, Reiki Master, in Sausalito. Using it as a self-healing process made me aware of how powerful this tool is – and how I could be of service offering it to others. As I began using it, I soon realized that I wanted to commit to offering it on a larger scale - outside of just my family and friends. By doing so, I could help promote healing at a greater level, working outward into the community around me - including the little critters we share the world with!
Since becoming attuned with Reiki I have volunteered at the Charlotte Maxwell Complimentary Clinic for low income women with cancer, as well as in a monthly Reiki clinic in Sausalito which is open to the public. I am also working with veterinarians to provide Reiki to their clients through donation-based clinics. I'm also currently in a Zhineng Qigong teacher training program which will benefit both my own practice as well as my work with others, and also run the Tibetan Healing Center in Sausalito, CA.
